It helps a certified medical examiner quickly answer: can I certify this driver today, how long can I certify for, should this go to determination pending, and what form or documentation is needed.
Core flow: search a condition, answer a few questions, and get the certification period, the pending or do-not-certify rule, the required form, and the exact FMCSA source link - with a printable return letter at the end.
DOT Cert Assist is guidance-only clinical decision support. It does not replace the MCSA-5875, your EHR, paper forms, or National Registry reporting, and it does not submit anything to FMCSA.
